While the big kids and Mark are all away at trek, we thought we might go try out one of the local strawberry patches and see what the fuss is all about.
We drove out the Meulebeke Market and rode the tractor out to the fields.
They were a little picked over already, so we really had to hunt to find the good ones.
All done!
I'm not sure why donuts and fruit picking always go hand in hand, but I'm so glad they do! Warm and sugary strawberry cake donuts!
And so fun slides and homemade play equipment to make it worth the trip.
We knew we'd need to use the strawberries fast so they didn't go bad, so we settled on pie!
Nobody really liked it but me, but it sure is pretty!
