New Crocs

The kids finally entered the world of "Crocs". Why didn't I buy these before now?? How awesome is a shoe that is made of foam, can get wet, dirty, poopy, grassy, etc and only takes a hose to get it back to ready-to-wear condition? No socks required! I love them!

Oh, and check out Ethan's smile. He just lost the other front tooth. The first popped out in the middle of sacrament meeting. Mark was on his own with the three older kids and Ethan started bleeding. Isn't that the best?

6 weeks old

Laney is 6 weeks old tomorrow! I can't believe how much she has already changed. She smiles all the time and is trying her best to do some talking. She opens her mouth wide and gives it her best try...

Her brothers and sister love to touch her and stroke her face. She fits right in around here.

Horse Upgrade

Ethan has been taking horse riding lessons for about a year now and loves it. He had mixed emotions last week when he didn't get to ride the white horse he was used to, Lady. But he was very excited to be atop the taller, majestic "Cache"!

Check him out! He even got to do a few small jumps! If he keeps it up, he may be able to ride in a competition next year.

Lake Hufford

We've had a lot of rain in northwest Arkansas this spring. We have a dry creek bed in the back field behind our house. In March it rained for 2 days and filled up the creek and the field. Another week later, the rains came down and the floods came up. Luckily, our house sits up about 6 feet in the back. So while our yard was converted into a makeshift wetland, our house was safe.

Mathew trudges to the deep end.

It's about time...

I figured it was about time to start blogging. We'll try and post once a week or so. I hope to link up with lots of family and old friends here!
