Right down the street from the rope park is a nice little splash pad. It's not fancy, but it's wet and it's free.
Even the big kids find ways to entertain themselves...
Everly does not like for the water to touch her skin in any kind of surprising manner. She must be totally in control. So she knows exactly where she can stand to avoid getting spraying by any annoying boys. She particularly likes the on/off button.
A little bit on her hand is acceptable.
Or perhaps a spot that she can stand on and force the flow to stop. Now, that's more like it.
Anna, on the other hand is out for blood. Her hair is plastered to her face and she's looking for a target.
Laney delights in the hunt as well...
All the better if her prey is her best friend, Juliette!
I wander in and get sprinkled every 15 minutes or so, just so I don't melt into a puddle. But mostly I'm there to guard the cheese and crackers.
