Stuff we eat: Kaira's Chicken Chili

This is one of the best things about fall.


Kaira's Chicken Chili

4 chicken breasts - cooked and diced
1 onion, diced
1/2 tsp garlic powder
a little oil

Add:
2 cans great Northern beans, drained
1 can chicken broth (or 2 cups)
1/2 c water
2 cans green chilis
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp pepper

*Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes

Then add 1/2 c. milk and 1 c. light sour cream

Let rewarm and serve....with Jordan's Sweet Cornbread.

P.S. It should be known that I have changed this recipe a little bit to cut out some of the fat, which unfortunately cuts out some of the deliciousness. Those are called natural consequences.
