Zoom rehearsal

There is no such thing as a zoom rehearsal.

But there is such a thing as a zoom "let's catch up and swap recipes"....so we did.

I miss these guys.

But mostly I miss our 90 minute gab sessions followed by 30 minutes of actual rehearsal...where will ever find that again?

Meadowlark Quartet

Well, we held our concert. 

It feels a little silly. We pick the music and practice until we can play all the notes with reasonable accuracy. Then we book the venue, make cookies and set up the camera...we invite friends and hope a few of them show. Mostly it is our families and a few music students. It's really a BYOE (bring your own everything) kind of a deal. 

But it keeps us sane and it reminds us all that we have something to offer besides our abilities to make peanut butter sandwiches and change diapers.
