Big Money

My my! Look who is getting her very first back account? She got herself a job at the Berry Patch and she needs someone to keep all that cash she's bringing in.

Naturally I sneak a picture.

She's feeling pretty proud to be the youngest Hufford yet to get a job!

Travelin Man

Mathew has packed up his earthly belongings and he is leaving Rexburg. He has a new job with Wachter starting in Arkansas and he will stop over with us for about a week. He is determined to make the 17 hr drive in one shot and my momma heart is pretty sure he's up for it.

Also. I'm terrified. But that's my default setting.

Caffeine, Mathew. Caffeine!

Side Hustle Summer

Megan currently has 3 jobs...MOD pizza, Midwest Alliance and Silas and Maddies ice cream parlor.

Naturally, we had to go in at the most inconvenient time to see Megan in action!

Spring Break

Spring Break this year was ALOT of petsitting.

It seems word is out that we don't go anywhere. So we talk care of cats and dogs while everyone else takes their cruises and hit the beach.

But I find comfort in knowing that we'll be able to retire someday.

And we still have Pogo Pass tickets to use up!

We popped over to the zoo and pretended to be the other members of our family...Everly and I already used our tickets.  I was ready to defend my identity as Mark. And Everly could be an exceptionally short 15 year old. Who's to say?

But nobody ever checks the names.  We were golden. Second zoo trip of the year, covered!

Stingray Bay was very cool. And wet.

No trip to the zoo would be complete without a sweaty ham sandwich and a zoo map.

We also spent an afternoon at Urban Air, which was way cooler than I thought it was gonna be. I was expecting big inflatables in a slightly creepy warehouse with dark corners.

This was fun!

It's not a Caribbean cruise, but we had a good time!

Super Fun Movie Night

Mathew was feeling short of cash. This boy values the feeling of being able to spend a buck or ten at the Price Chopper down the street.

He's been known to buy large quantities of soda and ride them home in his backpack.

Allowance can only get you so far, and until he's sixteen, the fastest way to earn cash is to have a ...

SUPER FUN MOVIE NIGHT!

We only had 20 kids this time, so it was completely not crazy or dangerous (more than I can say for some of our previous events)

And he earned $105 in 2 hours.

I need to get into this game.
