Summer Bucket List - Beach Day

Well, it's not a beach in the proper sense...but it scratchy rough sand at the edge of a largish body of water, she we are calling it a beach day! Or maybe Clay Day??

I've got it! It's a Kansas Clay Soiree!

Oh well, either way, we love it and we look forward to it. The kids splash and squeal about how chilly the water feels at first...

 
And before you know it, everyone is up to their necks and battling over the giant inflatable crocodile.

The mamas claim the shade and hand out snacks.

And we are all going home with massive sunburns and 1/2 in of sand in our cars. Well worth the long nap everyone is about to take.
